This is the Rule of Thirds.
Photographing people
Looking room.
the space that you leave in front of someone's face on the screen
head room.
the distance between the top of the subject's head and the top of the frame
eye level
shots where the camera is around the level of human eyes.
perspective
a summation of the relationship between objects in a photograph.
how high and zoomed in the camera was onto her face

My favourite photo was the photo of ruby laying on the floor because the leaf gives it so much effect.
